John learned that if you relentlessly mention the many wonderful attributes of a certain restaurant over and over and over again, that finally I’ll break down and take him there. After church on Sunday, much to John’s delight, we hit up Moe’s and had a delicious lunch. And, there were vegan options!
I had an amazing wrap with tofu, black beans, green bell peppers, cilantro, salsa vinaigrette, and jalapenos. Suuuuper spicy! I’ve got to figure out how they get their burritos so perfectly wrapped. They never fall apart!
Happy husband. I think John has salsa running through his veins he eats so much of it.
We had another low key weekend over here and I got in a lot of study time. I’m starting to feel like I might actually make this certification happen. I’ve been really doubting myself for a while now. Making the time and the effort to study has not been easy. But I hit a milestone this weekend that has renewed my resolve to finish.
Before jumping into studying though I absolutely had to finish this book.
Could not put it down! I woke up early-ish on Saturday morning, got myself a cup of coffee, and curled up on the couch to read. Is there anything better than books and coffee? Can someone pay me to just read books and sample your coffee supply?
I also took a lot of pictures of this guy, because, LOOK AT HIM!
I love people’s reactions when we go for a car ride. Their faces when they look over and see Amos staring at them are priceless.
I had a great run on the treadmill Saturday. I had a fantastic playlist going and I was seriously pumped up. It looked a little like this.
Hope you had an excellent weekend. I’ve got a crazy busy work week ahead but I promise we are finally going to discuss that Buti class I took last week and what it’s been like as a new vegan.
Have a great week everyone.
